What is crisis pay? How can I get it?

"Crisis pay" is defined in Article XIII, Section 9 on page 49 of the NYPNU contract.

In accordance with this  language, the hospital invoked long-term surge crisis pay for ED & ED holding, critical care units, telemetry units, and medical/surgery units. Note that MCH and perioperative units are not included.
