By opting into SMS communications from New York Professional Nurses Union ("NYPNU," "Union," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully. By opting in to receive SMS communications, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Program Description
By subscribing to our SMS service, you agree to receive text messages from NYPNU, which may include:
- Union updates and news
- Advocacy alerts and calls to action
- Information about events and activities
- Workplace updates
- Other relevant Union-related communications
By providing your mobile number and opting in to receive SMS communications, you give express consent to receive text messages from NYPNU. You do not need to opt in to SMS messages to maintain your Union membership.
2. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies. It will typically range from approximately 2-6 messages per month. Additional messages may be sent based on urgent Union matters, including during contract negotiations.
3. Cost and Charges
Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile service provider for details on your plan’s rates. NYPNU is not responsible for any charges related to SMS messages.
4. Opt In Instructions
You can opt in to receiving SMS messages by texting START to 646-783-0085. You can also email [email protected] or call 646-783-0085 to request to opt in.
5. Opt Out Instructions
You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by texting STOP to 646-783-0085, or reply STOP to any text you receive from us. After you send STOP, you will receive one final message confirming your opt-out status. No further messages will be sent unless you re-enroll.
