STATEMENT

"Hello
My name is Roy Milbouer and I am asking for your support in being re-elected to the position of Vice President of NYPNU. Currently I am a staff nurse in the Cardiac Catherization Lab with my years at LHH having been spent within the critical care division. I have been an active member within NYPNU holding the positions of Delegate, Executive Board member, Secretary and currently Vice President. During this time I have been part of the team that has achieved unprecedented and unique benefits in contract language and provisions for our nurses during contract negotiations. Being part of these committees and as well as the leadership team within NYPNU has been a challenging, rewarding and satisfying experience I ask for your signature to be able to continue in this role representing the nurses at LHH, MEETH, and LHGV.
I passionately believe the most important function and aspect of NYPNU lies in fostering, encouraging, insuring and protecting the VOICE of nurses as it relates to themselves and the patients they care for in their workplace and profession. I am committed to representing that voice across the spectrum of our membership as individual and collective.
