Vice President Roy Milbouer

Hello, my name is Roy Milbouer, I am a staff nurse in the Cardiovascular Cath Lab as well as Vice President of NYPNU. My career at LHH started in 1987 and my clinical focus has primarily been within the critical care division. During this time, I have worked in CCU, PCU, PACU and the CATH LAB. My service within NYPNU has consisted of being a Delegate, Executive Board member, NYPNU Secretary, Contract negotiating committee member, founding Treasurer to our regional affiliate NENA and Vice President of NYPNU since 2017. I have had the honor and privilege of working with many caring, dedicated, thoughtful & determined people over the years and have truly benefited both personally and professionally from those interactions. It is my firm belief and experience that our union empowers nurses to have a determinant voice in their workplace. It is with that voice through representation and the collective bargaining process that nurses at LHH, MEETH & LHGV have achieved precedent setting contract language that has positively affected nurses working conditions, compensation, the nursing profession and most importantly resulted in better and safer care to the patients we serve. United together in common goals with a strong voice we can face any challenge!
